To say this was a long book is like saying the Empire State Building is a little big. A whopping 1029 pages filled with short horrors and mysteries by famous authors like Edgar Allen Poe. This book definitely is not for a skimmer, or someone who wants an easy read. Once you actually start to reading this stories, though, it's so enticing and the plots are so different and fun to read about. An especial favorite of mine so far is called The Black Cat by Mr. Poe which tells of a man whose obsession over his cat throws him over the edge. I really liked this book since I had been reading so many school-romance novels and the genre was starting to lose it's freshness, I would recommend anyone to get this book and sit down for a couple of hours, it's so worth it. The only real downside is that I have a habit of being a skimmer, and the stories can be really long and complex. I give this novel a 9/10, it's a very good read, and some of the stories will really give you the chills.
