Lock and Key by Sarah Dessen (post 2)

So I was reading Lock and Key when I realized that I have yet to read a book that's funny, maybe I'm looking to hard. So anyway, I was deep into my reading when I noticed that Cora and Ruby are both very serious and confident. I guess I can understand seeing as they're sisters, but where are the nice, funny, wacky, shy, introvert, characters that balance a story? Jamie is the only character who seems like a becon of hope for this storyy, but it's just not for me. Cora and Ruby both hope a depressing air to them that gives the story a bad vibe to me. I like sad story, but sady, inspirational stories. The Cora/Ruby tagteam is throwing me off, 4/10 -_-"".
